Teresa Carver, MAMFT. Teresa has worked for a non-profit company providing counseling and cross-cultural care for expats living and working in Asia and the Americas for over 13 years. She and her family lived over 10 years in Southwest China before returning to the U.S. in 2015. She graduated from Liberty University with her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2015. In her current role, she continues to work with expats providing counseling, leading Renew Retreats for cross-cultural workers who have returned to the U.S. and working with Third-Culture Kids helping them to adjust and transition to life in U.S. and college upon their return to the U.S. after growing up overseas. She loves to travel and try new food. She and her family currently live outside of Richmond, VA where she enjoys being a cat and Labrador Retriever foster mom for the local rescue groups. She also enjoys cycling, reading, and cooking for her family.
